Description	Red and white transfer print Canova pattern sauce tureen. The sauce tureen has white applied handles. Scalloped rim and base rim have row of beads and flowers. Series of 3 flowers on each side of base. Central scene contains 2 urns on pedestals. Large urn has 3 figures. Another smaller urn in the background. On the water sets a gondola with a man fishing. Buildings set on both sides in the background with mountains, trees, and brush. A bouquet of flowers is under each handle. The lid has a white floral knob on the top. Space allowed for ladle handle to set. Central scene contains the urn on the left side and a sailing boat on the right. Floral bouquets on the ends. The tray has white handles. The rim alternates between flowers and the scene found on the lid. Central scene has an urn on a square pedestal with steps and balustrade on left. A gondola is on the water in the center with buildings, trees, and mountains on right. The back is marked with a red lion and C-scrolls surrounding the word "CANOVA". Beneath marked in red "T. MAYER" "STOKE UPON TRENT". There is a ladle with white handle and bowl which features a bead and floral rim. The central scene has an urn on a square pedestal on right and a gondola with pennant in the water on left. There are trees and brush in the background.
