It seems to me a pity that such nice work
should be hidden when it is so worth while. Does the
Herron Museum ever allow portraits a space on its walls
Or would the management care to have them for display?
I am not sure of the name of the artist, but it is
a Philadelphia artist. The portraits were painted in
about 1875 and portray a pioneer trotting horse breeder who was the foremost in that industry in the state.
