The Blanket

Bless You

Ryan O'Donnell

God Bless you for your perseverance in the fight to free Ireland once and for all. I feel it is about time that the damned English get out of our country. I live in the U.S.A. where I have been raised, but plan to move back to my people's land soon. I am young, 23, and barely scrape by, so I don't really have much money to give, but if there is a way to help the cause, by any means necessary, I will lend aid. I have relatives that emigrated to Belfast, from Donegal, and every time I talk with them, they have horrid stories of discriminatory crimes against them. All I want is to see a day where Ireland is free from our oppressors, by any means necessary. May The Wind Be At Your Back.
