Tuesday, October 21, 2003---- Irish-Americans reacted with delight at the news that elections are being called for Northern Ireland. "We congratulate Prime Minister Blair for correcting his mistake of May in cancelling the elections, and we congratulate Gerry Adams and David Trimble for negotiating the way forward", said Father Sean McManus, President of the Capitol Hill-based Irish National Caucus.
