The Blanket

The Frame Up of Michael McKevitt
Charles J.Murnick • 18 December 2003

Have you heard about McKevitt-how they brought him up for trial;
How it was all decided ere they marched him down the aisle;
How they blamed the man for Omagh just to put poor Mike away?
They gave Mckevitt twenty years for being in the IRA.

No evidence they introduced did link him to the deed-
They had Rupert there to testi-lie (overlooking his misdeeds) :
Quadruple - bankrupt Rupert, lifelong con man and a thief-
But those Quislings and their phoney court pretended to believe.

The whitening bones of Omagh's dead
Will rise to tell the tale,
How the RUC and Blighty's spooks
Were allowed to dupe the Gael;
The more that people learn the truth,
They will smell that smoking gun,
'Cuz the trail from Rupert and his pals
Leads straight on to the huns.
