Demonisation   C. Mac Aonghusa • 1 May 2004 A Chara,   May I make some points to Fr. Sean Mc Manus re his article on demonisation. Firstly, it defies belief that Fr Mc Manus would exclude Sinn Fein when using the term 'U-turn'. Secondly, the 'Cause' of Irish republicanism is a separatist one. Thirdly, would Fr Mc Manus please put forward a cogent argument as to why self government for the Irish people cannot mean equality, justice and peace for the Irish people? If he cannot will he make its attainment 'dear to his heart' as it is to others whom Sinn Fein have demonised? Is Mise, C.
