The Blanket

Cads Who Constitute A Public Nuisance

Dear Anthony McIntyre,

I'm sorry to hear that your travels on Belfast public transport were interrupted by those villains who take it upon themselves to oppose her Majesty's government in Ireland. But perhaps it will be of consolation to know that most of those cads who disrupted the purchase of stamps on Easter 1916 were dealt with in a manner which allowed the public to post letters in peace for several months. Perhaps her Majesty should pay more attention to you and your daughter's convenience and deal with these latterday ungrateful fanatics in a similar manner. Please don't disrespect people who are actively opposing foreign occupation - it really doesn't do you any credit.
