Short
and sweet this one.
As
a Blanket reader, and politically always on the edge
looking in, I have always respected those who hold
true to principles - hence I spend more time on your
pages than anywhere else. But reading Andy McIntyre's
expose on SF in the Times, I found a bit hard to
take. To be published in that shitrag, with all its
history of racist propagandist anti-Irish bile, is
getting dangerously close to the same territory he
accuses Mr. Adams & co. of going - forgetting
where you come from, where you were going and putting
a personal agenda to the fore. It may well be that
the baton will have to be picked up again in the
future, if these boys get "beached" as might
well be. To see the Times and authentic "socialist
independent Republicanism " conniving together
makes me think the Establishment is laughing at us
all.
