Wasn't
it the Provos who fingered Paul Hill in the first
place and then sat back and let the him take the penalty?
Maybe having someone put away helped take the heat
off them?
Wasn't it ironic that if Hill hadn't been locked up,
he'd still have been a discredited and undesireable
wanna-be, he'd never have become "respectable"
to the American "Irish", never become a
trophy for a Kennedy woman anxious to get close to
a "whiff of cordite", she would never have
taken Paul to show him off to her Clinton friends
and so he could never helped to get Gerry's visa or
make Gerry a respectable White House visitor?
Wasn't it Paul who helped Gerry get to his place at
the Peace Table, far more than Paul has ever been
credited?
Maybe your man Kevin Byrne isn't Continuity RUC, or
even a Brit, maybe he's just a Provo trying to decommission
some of the opposition without hurting their kneecaps?
